Originally The Hotel Rosenberg in 1896,

 later renamed  The Roseboro Hotel

 in the '20's. Photo circa 1896-1900.

The original Rosenberg House is in the left rear. Rosenberg's boarding house was so successful that he built the Hotel Rosenberg in 1896 to accommodate his increasing clientele. This very early photo is circa 1896-98. Note that it is not yet attached to the Howland House on the right.

Also, the original "house" is only 2 story.

 Note the Howland House (in front) has been increased from 2 stories to 4 1/2 and attached to the Rosenberg Hotel. The Rosenberg House has increased from 2 stories to 3 1/2 and attached to the hotel as well.

 19'teens...still the Rosenberg Hotel.

Roads were shared by horse and horseless carriages.
