New Brookfair Gardens Store to Open at The Roseboro

I am excited to be opening Brookfair Gardens very soon at the Roseboro. Brookfair Gardens is a garden supply, gift shop and antique store. We are currently renovating the entire first floor of the Holland House (where the Beekman Merchantile 1802 used to be.) We are removing the walls to make it into one large store. Brookfair Gardens merchandise will also be available online very soon.

I love going to country auctions to pick up merchandise for the new store. Here are just a few items I picked up tonight at an auction. These items will be for sale in the new store. So exciting!

A set of matching green carnival glass footed dishes.

An antique buckboard style wagon.

Brent Painting

This is an amazing Paul Brent original painted on barn boards. I was shocked to find this at a local auction.

A really cool antique chicken cage.

This is a very nice hosier cabinet with all of the hardware still in tact and in great shape.

A pair of swans and a pineapple picture I bought at auction tonight.

A very nice Regulator clock I bought at the auction.

A Dragonfly Tiffany lamp. It is in great shape.

A set of collector Coors Beer steins.

I had to buy these two forks – a potato fork and a pitch fork.

Here was a AMAZING buy. I bought a box of “old papers.” In the box turned out to be 2 unopened sets of Currier & Ives Lithograph prints. It also contained 3 sets on Norman Rockwell Lithograph prints as well. What a find! And . . . I only paid $14 for the box of “stuff.”

Bowl & PitcherHatpinsTable Tons of hat pins!

A maple drop-front desk. I am going to use this to display product in the store.

A curved front Victorian secretary desk.
